Iggy Azalea appeared to have broken up with Playboi Carti on Friday (December 20), announcing she was single Instagram Stories. But the Australian rapper has since apologized for the social media post, indicating she made the comment without putting much thought into it.
“I need to make an apology,” she wrote. “It’s not my character to put out whatever business I go through in my private life on the internet for the world to comment on. I felt very upset and I made an impulse choice I immediately regretted, but it was too late to undo.”
Iggy then addressed her relationship with Carti, whose real name is Jordan Carter.
“The truth is I love Jordan very much, I always will – more than you could ever know,” she noted. “That’s all the world should ever need to hear and iam sorry for making something public that should always remain private between him & I no matter what.”
The apparent turmoil in Iggy’s personal life has emerged weeks after she was rumored to be pregnant with Carti’s child.
Hollywood Unlocked claimed Iggy was six-months pregnant and due to give birth in March 2020, but she hasn’t shown signs of pregnancy in the bikini-clad photos posted on her Instagram in recent weeks.
