So Icy Summer is expected to arrive on Friday (July 3), not long after Gucci called out Atlanta Records for being “polite” racists. Despite his threats to leave the label, it appears they’ve come to some kind of understanding.
On Wednesday (July 1), the 40-year-old rapper tweeted an apology to the Warner Music Group imprint.
“I’m not going independent but so respect those who go that route,” he wrote. “I apologize for my rude harsh language lately I’m a do better #1017/Atlantic.”
