Fetty Wap‘s younger brother passed away in New Jersey earlier this month and now the “Trap Queen” creator is paying homage to him on wax.

CNN confirmed 26-year-old Twyshon Depew was shot and killed on October 15 in their hometown of Paterson. Fetty spoke out about the devastating loss days later and on Tuesday (October 27), he previewed a song inspired by it.

“And I know you wish it wasn’t like this but boy your ass was all over the TV,” he sings on the record. “I be telling all my niggas be easy/Always hit my line if you need me/Looking at the clouds can’t be easy/Like why the fuck my brothers had to leave me?”

In an Instagram post revealing his passing last week, Fetty took responsibility for letting his younger sibling down.

“I love you lil bro my twin … R.I.P,” he wrote. “I failed you bro I’m sorry … I keep calling ya phone and you won’t pick tf up and that shit never ring 3 times now it’s straight to vm I love you lil bro I really thought I could get you out before I ever had to make a post like this lil bro like wtf.”

The New Jersey native also shared a photo from the funeral, showing roses and red bandanas on top of Depew’s casket. HipHopDX sends our condolences to Fetty Wap and his family.
