RealStreetRadio Premiere – Sun God comes from Hip Hop royalty. As the son of Ghostface Killah, the Staten Island native witnessed first-hand the hard work and dedication it takes to succeed in the music industry. Now, he’s continuing the Wu-Tang Clan lineage and applying that same work ethic to his own career.

While he’s also a contributing member of 2nd Generation Wu — comprised of U-God’s son iNTeLL, Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s son Young Dirty Bastard and Method Man’s son PXWER — Sun God is focused on his solo career as well. His new song, “Colorful Noise,” puts a spotlight firmly on his rapping prowess.

“‘Colorful Noise’ was naturally made,” he tells RealStreetRadio. “I was going through some beats with SunsetV12 (The producer), and I selected the beat. He asked me ‘How does this sound?’ and spit the hook to me. After that, I said, ‘Let’s lay this down!’ and the rest was history. I’ve had my trials and tribulations throughout my journey. I ain’t really know how life was going to turn out but I’m here now.

Sun God continued, “When the people need me, I’ll be there to deliver my and play my part. Some knowledge I got from my pops is, ‘Don’t be afraid of trying something new, being unorthodox, while also building your own brand and carving your own niche.’

“I’m really just trying to pick up where I left off. Giving the people good music they can nod their head to, while also continuing to make a name for myself.”

The burgeoning MC will be releasing more music throughout year — both solo and with 2nd Generation Wu.
