RealStreetRadio Premiere – The D.I.T.C. crew is taking steps to usher in a new era and as part of that mission, they’ve welcomed newcomer David Bars into the D.I.T.C. fold.
To mark the occasion, Bars has announced his upcoming EP The Bar Code alongside a new single called “Beat The Odds,” which features and is produced by the inimitable DJ Premier.
“I be on some shit now and everything is lit,” Bars told RealStreetRadio. “No rubber bands. I need a hunnid bands just for a sit down.”
The Bar Code boasts production from Buckwild, Showbiz, Lord Finesse, Da Beatminerz and, of course, Preemo. Fat Joe and Cory Gunz contribute vocals to the project.
“David Bars brings back the joy of hearing lyrical skills and wordplay,” Preemo said to DX. “The competitive voice and confidence he presents makes it exciting to keep that foundation alive for the culture to live longer.”
