Drake’s October World Weekend Will Feature a Young Money Reunion

Drake has announced three-day arrangement October World Weekend Tour in Toronto, with Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, Lil Baby and more on the bill.

Drake is bringing Honestly, Nevermind festivities home for the summer. On Wednesday (July 13), the Canadian native announced October World Weekend, a three-day concert event featuring Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, Lil Baby, Chris Brown, and unspecified act “All Canadian North Stars” also slated to perform. Taking place on July 28-29 and August 1 at various Toronto venues, the three-day engagement will also be a part of Drizzy’s Road to OVO Fest Tour.

On Instagram, the rapper teased details about his 2023 world tour.

“I am currently working on bringing OVO FEST around the world in 2023 for the 10th Anniversary, but of course we wanted to turn the city up for the summer!!! More event announcements to come,” he wrote.

With Nicki Minaj returning to the festival circuit with recent spots at Wireless Festival in London and Essence Festival in New Orleans, she will also co-headline Rolling Loud New York in September with A$AP Rocky and Future. Lil Wayne performed with Nicki during Essence Festival earlier this month, but the rap veteran will also return to the festival circuit in August for Lil Weezyana Festival 6. Also on the bill are Coi Leray, Moneybagg Yo, Babyface Ray, Rob 49 and more.

Last month, Drizzy released his latest album Honestly, Nevermind, becoming his 11th album to hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. This month, he also joined Backstreet Boys in Toronto for a rendition of their 1999 hit “I Want It That Way.”

Tickets for October World Weekend go on sale this Friday (July 15).
