Drake is no stranger to expensive jewelry and his latest item is up there with the best of them. Based on the October’s Very Own logo, the Toronto native’s new owl pendant is made up of a stunning 342 diamonds, according to British GQ. It consists of 18 carats of pure, solid rose gold and is encrusted with another 23.32 carat diamonds.

The chain is designed by Jacob Arabo’s watch and jewelry brand Jacob & Co, with celebrities such as Kim Kardashian, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo among those known for wearing the company’s diamond-heavy designs.

Nicknamed “Jacob the Jeweler” and “King of Bling,” Arabo’s watches go for upwards of a whopping $658,000. Even if someone did have that kind of money to spend, Drizzy’s item is a custom-made piece.

In July, Drake spent $600,000 on two Tupac Shakur chains from celebrity jeweler Jason of Beverly Hills. One chain featured a gold crown of thorns, while the other had a diamond crown of thorns. Both included a diamond chain with around 70 carats of white and yellow diamonds.

Clearly, the Jesus piece chains weren’t enough for Drizzy. The following month, he called on Jason once again to splash $300,000 on a Cupid chain. The item featured a diamond-encrusted Cupid wearing a ski mask, which consisted of 75 carat diamonds and over half a kilo of gold.

Drake was also the recipient of a chain from Lil Durk in September to celebrate the success of their “Laugh Now Cry Later” collaboration. The chain combined Durk’s Only the Family logo with the OVO symbol, with Drake thanking the Chicago rapper on his Instagram Stories, saying, “VVV Rare @lildurk.”

That same month, Drake gave DJ Khaled a custom-made chain featuring the OVO owl and a key to represent his “major key” phrase and the title of his 2016 album. The gift arrived shortly after dropping their two singles “Greece” and “POPSTAR” over the summer.

“Shout out to my brother Drake,” Khaled said in a video. “Thank you so much. This gift means so much to me. Drake got me a beautiful gift. This is an owl and a key … and then it got the lion head ’cause you know I represent the lion.”
