Drake released the Scorpion single “God’s Plan” in January 2019, which immediately shot to the top of the Billboard Hot 100.

The accompanying Karena Evans-directed video has racked up over 1.2 billion YouTube views since its release and received five nominations at the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards, including for Video of the Year, and three nominations at the 61st Grammy Awards for Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Rap Song, winning the last category.

As of Monday (October 19), Chart Data tweeted “God’ Plan” is now the most streamed song in Apple Music history.

The tweet read, “@Drake‘s “God’s Plan” is the #1 most streamed song in US Apple Music history.”

Chart Data also reported Travis Scott’s “SICKO MODE” from 2018’s Astroworld album is now the No. 2 most streamed song in Apple Music history, writing, “@trvisXX’s ‘SICKO MODE’ is the 2nd most streamed song in US Apple Music history.”

“SICKO MODE” — which featured an uncredited appearance by Drake — arrived on August 21, 2018 and became Scott’s first chart-topping Billboard Hot 100 single and first rap song in history to spend at least 30 weeks in the chart’s Top 10 region. It was HipHopDX’s 2018 Collaboration of the Year as well.

The track’s music video, directed by Dave Myers and Scott himself, has reeled in over 680 million YouTube views.
