It’s been a great year for Philadelphia sports.  The Phillies went to the World Series, the Eagles are in Super Bowl next week and the 76ers look like a real threat for their first title in three decades.

According to Philadelphia native DJ Drama, his city’s good sports year has been good for Lil Uzi Vert, who he believes has replaced Meek Mill as Philly’s official anthem maker.

“I think it’s fair to say that ‘I Just Wanna Rock’ has replaced — with all due respect — ‘Dreams and Nightmares’ as the new anthem of Philadelphia, as the new anthem of the Philadelphia Eagles this year,” Drama stated. “I’m looking forward to hearing that song many, many times [throughout] Super Bowl weekend,” he told TMZ.

Lil Uzi Vert did walk the Eagles out before their NFC Championship domination of San Fransisco.

However, in all fairness to Meek, “Dreams and Nightmares” was played in the Eagles’ lockerroom after the game and during the many celebrations that pop up around the city.
