Yesterday, Diddy apologized for beating the crap out of his then-girlfriend Cassie in 2016.
He had to. CNN leaked video of the hotel hallway beatdown, which Cassie had already detailed in the lawsuit she filed against Puff last year, and The Diddler settled for a rumored $30 million
His apology struck most folks as insincere, in part because he didn’t even say Cassie’s name during his mea culpa.
There is a reason for that.
One of the conditions of the lawsuit was that neither party could publicly say the other’s name.
This is also why Cassie hasn’t said anything about the apology.
However, that condition doesn’t apply to a private conversation, and Cassie’s lawyer has clarified that she will work with the Feds if they need her to make a case against the disgraced mogul.
