American artist and innovator extraordinaire Ike is dripping his latest sounds. His new single, “Trunks” comes paired with a music video captured with a vintage-feel, pushing the song forward and helping fans get to know more about Ike, his aesthetics and ambition. The Mississippi-based rapper and songwriter follows-up on his previous release, “Can’t Fold,” this time with an even trendier groove, flow, and execution. Ike is confident but shows it with subtlety, never straining for effect and instead letting his art talk for himself. He doesn’t need extravagant statements and useless confrontations, he just lets the film roll for everybody to agree that he is good, really good. Both of his tracks, “Can’t Fold” and “Trunks” were hosted on Young Fly’s Coming Up Vol.2 and hosted by DC Young Fly on SoundCloud and MyMixtapes.
