Cardi B and Offset are no more. Cardi has officially filed for divorce from the Migos rapper, according to Fulton County Superior Court records. Hollywood Unlocked confirmed that a divorce petition was indeed filed with Georgia court officers on Tuesday (September 15).

The former power couple had been married since September of 2017, which had originally been kept a secret until TMZ got ahold of the marriage certificate details in 2018. Offset originally proposed to Cardi on stage in October of 2017 in the midst of a performance at Power 99’s Powerhouse concert in Philadelphia.

Cardi and Offset do have one child together. Their daughter Kulture Kiari Cephus was born on July 10, 2018. Court docs obtained by TMZ find Cardi filing for primary custody of their two-year-old daughter with Offset covering child support.

The Bronx native posted a cryptic quote to her Instagram story over the weekend in regards to letting go.

“Her heart finally told her to stop wasting her time,” to which she also added, “It’s time.”

The Blast reports Cardi filed for a dissolution of marriage and for the court to put an end to her union with Offset. Infidelity rumors plagued the relationship throughout, which forced Cardi to temporarily breakup with Set for a short time at the end of 2018.

Cardi and Megan Thee Stallion’s “WAP” returned atop the Billboard Hot 100 this week, where it will spend a third week at No. 1 ahead of BTS’ “Dynamite.”
