Cardi B recruited Megan Thee Stallion for one of 2020’s most talked about singles “WAP.” The track immediately sparked controversy due to its overtly crass meaning and had parents losing their collective minds.
The Grammy Award-winning rapper is well aware how X-Rated the song is and apparently refuses to play it around her young daughter Kulture. Last week, a clip of Cardi turning “WAP” off when she noticed Kulture walking into the room went viral and Twitter is still talking about it days later, with many labeling her a hypocrite.

But Cardi B being Cardi B wasn’t going to let the criticism slide and took matters into her own hands after someone tweeted, “So ya daughter cant listen to it but everybody else’s daughter can? @iamcardib AW OKAY ! Exactly what I been saying you have an agenda to push with that trash ass label your with. DISGUSTING.”
Cardi snapped, putting the responsibility on the parents and reminding everyone she’s not child YouTube sensation Jojo Siwa.
“Ya needs to stop with this already!” she tweeted on Monday (January 4). “I’m not jojosiwa ! I don’t make music for kids I make music for adults. Parents are responsible on what their children listen too or see. I’m a very sexual person but not around my child just like every other parent should be. Cardi was posted up on Instagram Live on December 29 blasting her No. 1 Billboard Hot 100 hit when she noticed her two-year-old daughter strolling down the hallway. She immediately shuts it off in an attempt to shield her daughter from lyrics such as “Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah, you fucking with some wet-ass pussy/Bring a bucket and a mop for this wet-ass pussy/Give me everything you got for this wet-ass pussy.”
Snoop Dogg caught some heat after he weighed in on the “WAP” controversy last month.
“Oh my God. Slow down. Like, slow down and let’s have some imagination,” Snoop told Central Ave’s Julissa Bermudez. “Let’s have some, you know, privacy, some intimacy where he wants to find out as opposed to you telling him. To me it’s like, it’s too fashionable when that in secrecy, that should be a woman’s…that’s like your pride and possession. That’s your jewel of the Nile. That’s what you should hold onto. While Snoop found plenty of support for his sentiments, he ultimately assured fans how much respect he has for Megan and Cardi, saying, “Stop with the bullshit press. I love Cardi B and Megan.
