Cardi B is Billboard’s ‘Woman of the Year’ and she wants her haters to eat it up!

The “WAP” rapper took to Instagram on Wednesday (November 18) to relish in the moment, reminding everyone why even with only one song out in 2020, she was able to secure the top spot.

“Good morning y’all, it’s your girl Cardi B and yes, I am ‘Woman of the Year,’” she began. “And for you crybabies like, ‘What?! She only got one song!’ Yeah I got that song, bitch. You know, the one that sold the most? The one that streamed the most? The one that had Republicans crying on Fox News about it? The song that’s about to be 6x platinum in three months? The one that had your grandma popping her pussy on TikTok? Yeah bitch, that one.”

She continued on, highlighting her social activism over the year as well.

“On top of that like for over a year, I’ve been influencing using my platform for y’all to vote,” she continued. “Not just when Joe Biden was going against Trump – I been informing y’all about y’all senators. I been informing y’all about district mid-term elections, using my money – my own money – to meet up with these candidates like Bernie, flying out tired after shows. Yeah, that’s me bitch. Even when y’all was crying like, ‘Bitch, you don’t represent us!’ Yes I do, bitch. I represent America and I wanted a change and that’s exactly what the fuck I did.”

Kulture’s mom also launched a Reebok collection this year, while managing to make it through a rough patch at home with her husband Offset and ultimately come out stronger in the end for it.

Cardi will be celebrated at Billboard’s 15th annual Women In Music event on December 10, where fellow Bronx native Jennifer Lopez will also be honored with the prestigious Icon Award. Hosted by Teyana Taylor, the virtual show will stream live beginning at 8 p.m. ET.
