Cardi B has entered into the K-pop world by joining BLACKPINK for their first rap collab, “Bet You Wanna.”

The song appears on the girl group’s debut The Album, which arrived Friday (October 2). Bardi has been excitedly tweeting about the collab with the hashtag #BARDIPINK, and in one tweet explained how she initially struggled with her verse because she had to keep it wholesome.

“Ok my last tweet of the night,” Cardi tweeted Thursday night. “It really hard for me to do a verse with no curse words and PG..I really wanted to say ‘ I bet if you get me WET I’ll still be on fire.’ I’ll be reposting tomorrow the whole day …make sure ya stream ‘BET YOU WANNA.’”

Cardi didn’t enjoy the process of cleaning up her chart-topping ode to her perfectly lubricated lady parts either. Having to change the hook on “WAP” from “Wet Ass Pussy” to “Wet And Gushy” for the radio proved to be an irritating process for the Bronx native, which she elaborated on in a recent interview.

“Wet and gushy – ugh, I don’t even like saying it,” she said during an appearance on Australia’s Kyle and Jackie O Show in August. “I would have had to replace it with, ‘Now from the top, make it drop, bounce that big ol’ booty,’ because that was the only thing that rhymed. It was really hard for me to clean this song up because nobody could convince me to keep ‘gushy,’ because I hate the word ‘gushy.’ Ugh.”

It did its job, though, as the song was certified platinum in less than a month. And with the way the Bardi Gang and Blink fan groups are going hard for “Bet You Wanna,” another platinum plaque is probably not far off.
