If you haven’t heard “Call It Whatever” yet, two of hip-hop’s biggest digital platforms think you should. The new collaborative single from independent North Houston rapper Kenneth Millyun and TeeZol, helmed by producer MDawgBeatz, has been featured on both The Source and AllHipHop — a double co-sign that puts the record squarely in front of the culture’s most dedicated listeners.

The track is exactly what its title suggests: unbothered, direct, and unapologetic. Kenneth has described it as a straight-up lyrical showcase, a chance for him and TeeZol to remind the room that they belong in any conversation about skill and craft. It’s the kind of record that doesn’t need a moment to introduce itself.

Interestingly, the single wasn’t originally built around Kenneth at all — TeeZol brought him in as a primary after the foundation was already laid. The result is a track with a natural, unforced energy that reflects a friendship spanning years of real life, not just studio sessions. The two met at a house party long before music was a career for either of them, and everything that’s happened since has only deepened the working relationship.

“Call It Whatever” is out now across all platforms. Kenneth Millyun is currently working on new project material, and if the response to this single is any indication, the timing couldn’t be better.
