Marvel Studios’ Black Panther is building up more anticipation than most movie execs could have ever expected. A new Fandango report claims the must-see action flick is currently outpacing all first quarter film releases in advance ticket sales.

According to a new Fandango press release, Black Panther is pacing itself to either tie or blow beyond past first quarter heavyweights like 2012’s The Hunger Games and 2017’s Beauty and the Beast in presales.

This week, rap star Kendrick Lamar and his Top Dawg Entertainment labelmate SZA released their “All The Stars” Black Panther The Album music video.

A huge component for the upcoming flick’s massive popularity is how much social media attention it has received.

Last week, “Insecure” star Issa Rae shared an epic reaction to seeing Black Panther at its world premiere.
