2nd Generation Wu has undergone a transformation. For the group’s second single “New Generation,” Young Dirty Bastard and Sun God hang back. while iNTeLL (U-God’s son) and PXWER (Method Man’s son) take the reigns.
Boasting dark, eerie production from YODI and intelligent, braggadocious bars of iNTeLL and PXWER, the track puts their undeniable chemistry boldly on display.
“I met YODI thru the ‘Gram and he appreciated my craft so much so, that he would send beat packs every week,” iNTell explained to RealStreetRadio. “He’s one of a handful of super producers I’ve been working with for years but have yet to meet in person. And after hearing this beat in a pile of other dope beats, I knew this one was special if it caught my ear.”
He added, “The song is dope but as a director I cannot wait until y’all see the visuals. We went to another planet with this one.”
Meanwhile, PXWER said, “I been acting in iNTeLLs films & videos for awhile, he always film when it’s freezing outside, ridiculously cold. But the video is dope and compliments the song well, I look forward to y’all seeing it.”
