Never has a rapper been as much of an establishment darling as Kendrick Lamar.

He doesn’t just get Grammys; he gets Pulitizers.

But the establishment may be turning on him.

Kendrick has multiple appearances on Playboi Carti’s smash hit album I AM MUSIC.  The depth of his involvement in the album is such that he’s been accused of booting a Drake feature off the product.

However, he hasn’t been getting such great reviews for his effort.  FADER and critic Fantano, both massive Kendrick stans in the past, offered up these criticism of K. Dot:

Fantano says Kendrick is hypocrite for working with Carti, who’s been accused of doing some pretty nasty things to females and FADER doesn’t think Kendrick’s features work.

Is the tide turning?
