Wendy Williams is being housed against her will in an assisted living facility.

This morning, she dropped a note out the window of her room, reading “Help! Wendy!”

Williams, who was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia, has been fighting her court-ordered guardianship and says she is rarely allowed to leave her room.

The gambit worked.  Police saw the note and escorted her to a local hospital for an independent cognitive assessment.

If she passes, her guardianship could end, and Wendy would be free to go as she pleases.

Earlier this year, Wendy told TMZ that her son got put away because he’s been stealing money.

“My son, he overstepped his boundaries in terms of me. He overstepped his boundaries and he was inappropriately using my money without telling me crap about it.”
