Jay-Z’s lawsuit has taken over much of the Hip Hop discourse this week. Right away, his fans defended him, and his detractors began celebrating.

Tony Yayo and Uncle Murda were asked about the suit, and they called it bogus. But they have different theories as to what’s going on.

Uncle Murda believes Diddy is responsible for the lawsuit.

“I think Diddy paid somebody to say that sh*t about Jay to get the heat off hisself, ’cause Diddy looking bad out here,” Uncle Murda told TMZ. “I think he trying to get the heat on Jay. You gotta watch Diddy. He going through a lot right now.”

Meanwhile, Yayo thinks Jay is the victim of a shakedown.

“It sound like a money grab with that one,” he said. “Somebody send you a letter, and then you gotta send your lawyers? Sound like extortion.”

Jay is being accused of drugging and raping a 13-year-old with Diddy in 2000 while a female celebrity looked on.

What do you think about Murda and Yayo’s theories?
