Last year Ice Spice said in an interview that she doesn’t consider herself a lyricist.

“Obviously, lyrics go into music and I do think about them and I do be having bars in my music, but they’re just super simple,” she said at the time.

So, when Kai Cenat asked her to freestyle when she stopped by for an interview on Thursday, some might’ve thought she would’ve dropped some of those simple bars.

That wasn’t the case, though. Instead, Ice began twerking, which she’s been criticized for in the past.

Remember when veteran rapper Nikki D came down on her for twerking instead of delivering bars?

But Kai didn’t seem to mind Ice backing it up instead of rapping.

“That was your freestyle?” he asked. Kai then began clapping.

Check it out above.
