Eminem went with nostalgia for his first single off his upcoming The Death of Slim Shady album, and it looks like it worked big time.

“Houdini” is a call back to his hit “Without Me,” which went number 2 in 2002, and samples the Steve Miller hit “Abracadabra,” which went number 1 in 1982.

“Houdini” is trending to open in the top three on the Hot 100 next week after posting one of the biggest days ever for a rap track on Spotify.  It’s also picking up steam, so there is a chance it could challenge the three-week hold the Post Malone/Morgan Wallen track “I Had Some Help” has had on number one.

What do you think The Death Of Slim Shady puts up in its opening week, which should come by the end of the month?
