Sexyy Red once said she wanted Donald Trump to be the next president of the United States, but she’s since changed her outlook.
The St. Louis rapper spoke about Trump in October, and explained that her support has to do with jail and free money.
“At first, we weren’t f*cking with him,” she told comedian and podcaster, Theo Vonn. “They thought he was racist and against woman. Â But once he started getting Black people out of jail and giving out free money … Ah, baby, we love Trump, we need to get him back in office … I love Trump. Â He funny to me. Â Him talking to people. Â He be calling people fat. Â He funny. Â We need people like him.”
But on Monday, June 3, Red tweeted that she isn’t endorsing the polarizing presidential candidate.

Red was still seen performing next to a big MAGA hat on stage, though, so it’s possible she’s still riding for Trump.
