J. Cole surprised dropped the album Might Delete Later Thursday night.

According to HitsDailyDouble, the project will do between 140-160K first week and top the Billboard album chart.

That’s a drop from his previous albums, which have averaged around 400K in their first weeks.

However, Cole would probably consider this an appetizer to his much-anticipated The Fall Off album, which should be released later this year and will likely do bigger numbers.

What do you think of Cole’s numbers?  Even without any rollout, it did get a lot of attention because he dissed Kendrick Lamar (and possibly Future) on it.
