Police say the Sniper Gang rapper was shot at 6:57 AM in the driveway of his home in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
The assailant got off several rounds and escaped in a car of unknown make and model in what is said to be a targeted attack.
Jackboy, 26, was airlifted to Lanwood Hospital and is in serious condition.
There is currently a heavy police presence around the crime scene.
Jackboy was recently accused of beating up his female artist.
