Jack Harlow made his acting debut in the reboot of White Men Can’t Jump, which premieres on Hulu Friday, May 19.

But since it was announced the 1992 film would be remade, many reacted negatively, saying that a classic sports flick shouldn’t be redone.

While speaking to the Associated Press, Harlow admitted that the criticism bothers him.

“It pisses me off,” said the Kentucky rhymer, per AllHipHop. “For me, nobody even feels that strongly. Everybody just needs something to say ‘cause it’s just like, ‘Oh, this is something I can comment on.’ Nobody actually cares or feels truly strong or emotional or is sitting at dinner aggravated with their significant other about it. Nobody cares. So, it’s like we don’t care, for real. And another thing, it’s for the youth.”

Do you think people should just stop complaining about classic films and TV shows being remade based on Harlow’s words?
