Now the 33-year-old has tied the late King Of Pop for an impressive Billboard chart record.

This week, the Ariana Grande-featured remix of Weeknd’s six-year-old track “Die For You” hit number one on the Billboard charts.

That means Weeknd joins Michael Jackson as the only artist to have three number-one tracks from three different albums.

MJ had number hits off of  Michael Jackson of of 1979’s Off The Wall, 1982’s Thriller, and 1987’s Bad.

Weeknd did it off of 2015’s Beauty Behind The Madness, 2016’s Starboy, and 2020’s After Hours.

“Die For You” is Weeknd’s seventh overall number one.
