To perform “Peaches”, Justin Bieber was joined by Daniel Caesar and Giveon with a piano-led rendition of the hit song at the 2022 Grammys.

Justin Bieber, Daniel Caesar and Giveon brought their “Peaches” from Georgia to Las Vegas during the 2022 Grammy Awards. To perform their 2021 smash hit, Bieber opened a performance of his collaboration with Caesar and Giveon at an all-white piano before hopping into an awkwardly censored rendition of “Peaches”.

The song has set a record for the most credited co-writers, with eleven songwriters in total, per Billboard.

While “Peaches” was nominated for Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best R&B Performance and Best Music Video, the song lost in all four categories. The R&B category went to Silk Sonic (“Leave the Door Open”) and Jazmine Sullivan (“Pick Up Your Feelings”), Silk Sonic also won Record of the Year and Song of the Year for “Leave the Door Open” while Jon Batiste for took home the Best Music Video Grammy for “Freedom”.

As Bieber tied with Doja Cat for second-most nominations, his 2021 album Justice was nominated for Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album, the latter which went to Olivia Rodrigo for her 2021 debut album SOUR.

Earlier in the evening, Giveon was nominated for Best R&B Song for “Heartbreak Anniversary”, but the Grammy went to Silk Sonic for “Leave the Door Open”. Tonight marked the ninth Grammy nomination for Daniel Caesar, who won a Grammy for Best R&B Performance with H.E.R. for “Best Part” in 2019.

In 2016, Bieber won his first Grammy in the Best Dance/Electronic Recording category for “Where Are Ü Now” with Jack Ü, also winning a Grammy in 2021 in the Best Country Duo/Group Performance for “10,000 Hours” with Dan + Shay.
