Benny the Butcher and J. Cole team up in new video for “Johnny P’s Caddy” from the Buffalo rapper’s upcoming third album Tana Talk 4.

Benny the Butcher is back with a vengeance. At midnight, the Griselda rapper dropped J. Cole-featured track “Johnny P’s Caddy” on social media, with a surprise visual to kick off the rollout for his forthcoming album Tana Talk 4.

The visual shows Butcher witnessing police harassment in front of a convenience store, later retreating to an antique-styled house with Cole where a newborn baby is being cradled in an adjoining room. Cole also crowns himself “Best Rapper Alive” in his gritty verse.

Cole’s bravado comes just in time for the upcoming Grammy season, as he’s up for four nominations; Best Rap Album, Best Rap Song, Best Rap Performance and Best Melodic Rap Performance.

Produced by Alchemist and Daringer, “Johnny P’s Caddy” will be on the fourth installment of the Tana Talk series which began in 2018. After joining Griselda on their breakout 2019 album WWCD, Butcher’s second album Burden of Proof  was released in 2020 while his last EP Pyrex Picasso dropped in 2021.

In 2021, Butcher dispelled rumors of tension with his Griselda brothers during an interview with Bootleg Kev.

“I don’t know what people be thinking. They’d rather push that narrative. “It’s nothing more than n**gas working on their own shit, doing their own thing.” he said.

While Butcher’s collaborative project with Freddie Gibbs has yet to be announced, Tana Talk 4 is slated to release this year.
