Rowdy Rebel is back home after his release from prison on Tuesday (December 15), and he’s already ready to stir the pot.

In a video shortly after he walked out of the Ogdensburg Correction Facility, the “Computers” rapper stood on top of a car as he laid claim to the coveted title of King of New York.

“Fuck that bro – the King of New York back, n-gga!” he exclaimed. “Tell n-ggas the real King of New York back! If they don’t like it, tell them n-ggas to do what they gotta do! You see my guys with me!”

Rowdy had been behind bars since 2014, when he was arrested alongside Bobby Shmurda and 13 other members of their GS9 crew on a 69-count indictment. Quickly making up for lost time, the Brooklyn native was met with new ice upon his return to the outside world, including a chain with a pendant of a diamond-encrusted skull with braids.

He also connected with Shmurda on a call and shared the moment with his followers on Instagram Live. The “Hot N-gga” rapper currently remains behind bars after reportedly being denied parole in September, and will likely have to complete the entirety of his seven-year sentence until his scheduled release on December 11, 2021.

Bobby was in great spirits on the call, and assured his fans that he’d be right there with his best friend soon.

“I love all my fans, I love all the supporters,” he said. “Man we’ll be right there, bro. Don’t even trip, man. Welcome home my big bro! You already know you deserve it! N-gga we about to turn up like no fucking tomorrow, n-gga!”
