Jack Harlow‘s debut album is en route.

The Louisville native had a breakout year with the success of his single “What’s Poppin” and its accompanying remix featuring Lil Wayne, DaBaby and Tory Lanez. Both songs peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and helped pave the way for the newly-announced That’s What They All Say, arriving on December 11.

Harlow revealed the cover art to the project on Wednesday (December 2), and almost immediately found himself trending both because of the excitement over the album and because of the controversy the cover seemed to cause. Just after his announcement, a room was created on social media app ClubHouse to discuss how the cover was “what’s wrong with Hip Hop.”

Some people took offense to the picture because it features a Black woman’s leg next to Harlow in a limousine as he signs autographs for a group of children. While some agreed with the creator of the room, others felt that it was a reach and there was nothing wrong with the image.

“I’m listening to a group of people literally yelling at each other that Jack Harlow’s cover is the ‘problem with hip-hop,’” journalist Philip Lewis tweeted. “Need that vaccine to hit the streets ASAP.”

According to Lewis, 21 Savage joined in the conversation as well and noted that artists don’t book models for shoots themselves and that Harlow shouldn’t be questioned over it.

Controversy aside, the album will follow Harlow’s Sweet Action EP that arrived on his 22nd birthday in March via Generation Now and Atlantic Records. The project featured seven tracks, with one of them being the Jetsonmade and Pooh Beatz-produced “What’s Poppin.”
