Lil Wayne has officially endorsed Donald Trump for president in the 2020 election.

On Thursday (October 29), the very same rapper who gave us “Georgia Bush” in 2005 went on Twitter to share a photo alongside 45 after meeting with him at the White House. According to Wayne, he’s rocking with the Platinum Plan Trump has for the Black community that Ice Cube has also endorsed.

“Just had a great meeting with @realdonaldtrump @potus,” Wayne said. “besides what he’s done so far with criminal reform, the platinum plan is going to give the community real ownership. He listened to what we had to say today and assured he will and can get it done.”

Trump has small but growing support from the Hip Hop community as he heads into the election. Earlier this week, Lil Pump announced his allegiance to Trump over Joe Biden’s tax plan, following in 50 Cent’s footsteps. However, 50 changed his tune once ex-girlfriend Chelsea Handler called him out.

“I DM’d him and I said, ‘Can you please call me about this?’” Handler revealed on The View. “‘I really I want to know if you’re serious about supporting Trump.’ He wasn’t serious. He was just screwing around on his Twitter. He is supporting Joe Biden. He made that very clear to me. I did promise to pay his taxes and then I found out it’s illegal to pay somebody to vote for your candidate.”

Gunplay has also endorsed Donald Trump, while Waka Flocka popped up in the comments of The Shade Room to insinuate he felt Trump was a better president than Barack Obama.
