Although Young Thug’s YSL label is known for sharing extravagant gifts between its members, a man associated with the imprint is claiming he’s not feeling the love these days.

TMZ is reporting Derrick Thrasher, Young Thug’s personal driver for at least seven years, is accusing YSL rapper Lil Duke of being the catalyst to a beatdown he allegedly suffered at a Los Angeles party in May.

Thrasher states after getting into a verbal disagreement with Lil Duke, he exited to the scene and only returned to pick up Young Thug.

It was then he was reportedly met with punches, kicks, and had a liquor bottle smashed over his head, which he claims resulted in the need for surgery.

His attorneys Paul M. Aloise Jr. and Ryan P. Molaghan sent a letter to Young Thug in hopes for the multi-platinum rapper and 300 Records to reach a settlement.

If not, lawsuit.

May 2020 was an eventful time for Young Thug, as he released his collaborative mixtape with Chris Brown, Slime & B, which spawned the Billboard Top 10 Hit “Go Crazy.” His next full-length project Slime Season 2 is rumored to be dropping on November 27, Black Friday 2020 in the United States.

Neither Young Thug nor Lil Duke has yet to react to the TMZ headline as of press time.
