It took $800, but one major Cardi B fan who has some deep pockets got the recognition he wanted from his fave.
Taking to Twitter, the London-based fan shared a screenshot of the eight $100 tips he’d sent to Cardi on her OnlyFans account on Wednesday (September 24), asking if it was enough to be noticed by her.
And sure enough it was.

Cardi launched her account on the mostly-NSFW subscription-based platform in August, but fans won’t be receiving any nude photos or videos from the superstar rapper. Instead, she’s promised behind-the-scenes content of “WAP” and “day-to-day” content for a cool $4.99 a month. She also goes live, which is what led to the overzealous fan’s generous tips.

The rate was initially set at $10 before Cardi got word of it and slashed it in half.

She’d also promised she’d be using the platform to squash the rumors that constantly surround her, but apparently the responses won’t be exclusive to the platform. As the Bronx native is currently in the midst of her divorce from Offset, she used her Instagram Live to address the rumor she’d filed for divorce for promotion of singer Anitta’s song “Me Gusta” that she appears on.
“I want to address another bullshit that I heard,” she said. “Another blogger claims that I am getting a divorce for attention. And it’s like, you think I’m going to pay a lawyer 20,000 fucking dollars?! They’re like, ‘I just find it so funny that Cardi is getting a divorce around this time she got a record called ‘Me Gusta’ out.’ First, of all, ‘Me Gusta’ is not even my record, it’s Anitta’s record. So I’m not even getting a huge piece of the song.
“I get along with his mother very well,” she continued. “You think I’m gonna do that to her son for attention? Why do I need attention? You don’t see I have millions of fucking followers? Do you see that I have the No. 1 song in the fucking world? Why do I need attention? Why do I need stunts?”
