It’s still early in the game for Bfb Da Packman and rap is already paying off in a major way.

In a tweet shared on Tuesday night (September 15), the Houston resident (by way of Flint, Michigan) revealed he was able to help his grandmother get out of debt – all thanks to the money he’s made from following his passion.

“My granny was damn near 10k in debt and she suffered in silence. Thanks to rap music and the fans I paid that shit off my baby just sat on the phone and cried,” Packman wrote. “Thanks sooo much y’all.”

Packman gained popularity over the summer with the release of his track “Free Joe Exotic” with Sada Baby. Though he’s been rapping since 2013, the track inspired by Netflix’s Tiger King series became his breakout hit as he mixed humor with hard-hitting bars. The video now sits at over 18 million views on YouTube since its premiere in June.

Up next, Bfb Da Packman will collab with Wiz Khalifa on a new track called “Fun Time,” set to drop next Friday (September 16).
