Kaytranada has few tricks up his sleeve for 2020. The Canadian producer waited until late Thursday (September 3) to reveal the instrumental version of his BUBBA album would be arriving on streaming services Friday (September 4).

He tweeted, “BUBBA INSTRUMENTALS COMING OUT AT MIDNIGHT!!!!”

As promised, the album is here. The groovy project boasts 13 tracks in total and a runtime of 40 minutes. The original 2019 edition saw vocal contributions from a versatile ensemble of artists that includes Pharrell Williams, Estelle, Mick Jenkins, Iman Omari, GoldLink, SiR and Tinashe, among others.

 

BUBBA dropped in December 2019 and served as his official follow-up to 2016’s 99.9% and his first project since his Nothing Like U / Chances EP.
