Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion have teamed up with Cash App and Twitter for the biggest cash giveaway in Twitter history. According to a press release, the “WAP” collaborators are planning to dish out $1 million to women in need between Wednesday (August 19) and Thursday (August 20).

All fans have to do is tweet #WAPParty with their $Cashtag and they will have a chance at receiving a portion of the $1 million through Cash App.

“To all everyone supporting #WAP we see you!!” Megan tweeted. “we’re partnering with Twitter and Cash App to celebrate all the powerful women out there by giving away a total of $1 million dollars. how can some $ help you or a woman you know right now? drop your $cashtag and use #WAPParty.”

Cardi quickly followed up with, “y’all made #WAP amazing!! we’re partnering with Twitter and Cash App to give away a total of $1 million dollars to celebrate all you powerful women out there. tell us why you or a woman you know can use a piece of the $. drop your $cashtag and use #WAPParty.”

“WAP” arrived on August 7 along with a colorful visual. The song shot to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 and made history in the process. According to Nielsen Soundscan, the track was streamed over 93 million times, the most for any song in its first week.

But “WAP” hasn’t been without controversy — it’s received plenty of criticism due to its crass lyrics (“WAP” is actually short for “Wet Ass Pussy”). In an interview with Far Out Magazine, CeeLo Green insisted women like Cardi, Megan and Nicki Minaj were simply desperate for attention.

“You have the ‘Heads of State,’ like Nicki Minaj or someone who is up there in accolade: success, visibility, a platform to influence,” he said. “Nicki could be effective in so many other constructive ways, but it feels desperate.

He added, “Attention is also a drug and competition is around. Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion, they are all more or less doing similar salacious gesturing to kinda get into position. I get it, the independent woman and being in control, the divine femininity and sexual expression. I get it all but it comes at what cost?”

The Goodie Mob OG ultimately issued an apology for comments he said were taken out of context.
