Recently, 50 Cent raised eyebrows after hooking up with Bellator head Scott Coker at a private meeting.

Coker also came forward to provide context behind the now-viral meeting.
āI explained to him a lot about our fighter-recruitment system and how we build athletes and sign free agents,ā Coker told MMAjunkie. āHe was interested. He had a lot of questions ā a lot of good questions.ā At a hotel in Beverly Hills, Coker said the two swapped stories about the fight business; 50 Cent started his own boxing promotion in 2012 and signed several high-profile fighters before a series of personal lawsuits prompted him to declare the company bankrupt. āI think he has a genuine interest in the business,ā Coker said.
