This week’s crop of new albums features work from the late legendary Afrobeat drummer Tony Allen. His posthumous album This is No End arrives a week after the first anniversary of his death at age 79. The album features guest appearances from Danny Brown, Skepta, and many more. Before his death, Allen reportedly sought to work with the “new generation of rappers,” to “give them a voice in a period of global turbulence where music has never been more important.”

Other releases include Oakland MC ALLBLACK’s debut album TY4FWM, as well as new albums from Tee Grizzley, Wiki, Quando Rondo, Melvoni, and many more. California singer-songwriter ROE (who’s written for artists like Chloe x Halle, Kash Doll, Sevyn Streeter) drops her debut EP, My Way.
