1200 Slim has recently released an outstanding teaser for his upcoming album Revelations under the form of a fiery single “Tik Tok.” Authentic, sharp, and tasteful, “Tik Tok” sees the rapper deliver some of his best verses to date, and powerfully establish himself as a creative force to be reckoned with in the game. After his previous release, “Palm Trees,” “Tik Tok” pushes a little more the boundaries of what he calls Louisiana rap, a savvy blend filled with references and everything we dig about Hip-Hop culture.
1200 Slim started taking rap seriously in 2014, after his release from a three and a half year sentence.
He Rose to fame with the release of his debut single “Dumb wit the Bands” produced by JON BOII, a track that aired on Bet Jams and Revolt’s The Gate. His next track “Tha Boot” was televised in the same fashion, setting the trend for a fruitful music career.
